All-Vegetable Kare-Kare

Ingredients

Sauce
WaterKraft Crunchy Peanut Butter
Patis
Brown or White Sugar

Vegetables
Baby Bok Choy
String Beans
Chinese Eggplant
Banana Blossom (also known as Banana Heart, canned)

Preparation Instructions

For the sauce, heat about 2 cups of water and dissolve the peanut butter in it. The amount of water will depend on how thick or thin you want your sauce to be. Add patis and sugar to taste. Add string beans. When string beans is almost done, add banana blossom which is cooked already before canning.

For the eggplant and bok choy, I usually steam those in a steamer so that I don't overcook them. Then I just mix them in. But if you don't want to steam, then after the string beans, add the eggplant, then the bok choy, then the banana blossom.
